Incredible app, upgrade is ridiculous

I absolutely love the basic functions of this app. The ability to easily categorize and invite others to participate in the lists is brilliant. I would love to have the ability to interact with others on the app, but having to pay a monthly fee to participate is not value added. It would also be nice if the shared feature syncd a little better.
